I think you misunderstood me. There's no way I would have gone long the oil drillers in '86 or '87 and I sure wouldn't pay 30x last yrs earnings when they were going to be taking losses probably for the next 10 yrs (most drillers went out of business anyway, like I think MU will do as well. Only the strong survive in a war like this, and MU is DEFINATELY on the weak side of the balance sheet batttle.)

larry, you have neglected to tell people that many times lots of companies go out of business during down cycles. many others are beaten up very badly financially.

or are we in the new era cycle ;-)
