I never short stocks. Never. I don't buy stocks, either. Bottom line is that I don't trade in the market. Period. I just investigate situations. I wasn't sure if you were directing that question to me, Mr. Metals, or if, as is more likely, you were posting it to the SI community at large.

I have nothing against people who go long or short stocks. Obviously, it's such forces that comprise the marketplace. You do find, though, in this business that stock promoter-types are always quick to jump on the shorts. I'm pretty sure there are some other SI threads that have canvassed these sort of issues.
