Mark,
Do you agree that these convertible deals contributed to the dramatic decline in ifmx stock. I'm talking about the manipulation and dynamics of a Reg-S specifically. How many of you thought, back in Apr when Phil owned up to the problems, that ifmx stock would fall all the way to 4?

There was even a separate thread on SI, where these investors pick any company that does a convertible preferred offering and short the stock - usually with dramatic gains ( the problem is many of these stocks are less than $5 so you can only short in Canada, otherwise everyone would do it).

Last December, I remember people on this board commenting about the way ifmx was experiencing tremendous volume and yet was not moving -it was stuck around $4. That happens all the time when there was a preferred conversion deal. That was when the converters bought their 13MM shares. People here should have at least known what was going on. BTW, I looked in Edgar when I bought my stock and didn't see those filings. That was December Im sure they weren't there yet. In any case it doesn't do an investor any good if they buy in August (the same month as a Reg-S deal), the stock crashes, and then in December an Edgar filing shows up.
