I just received a private message from Datek's Tim Richter, who took the initiative to look into my order all on his own. I'm impressed. He determined that due to a typo on my part, I had placed the limit order for $26 3/4, NOT $6 3/4, and that is why the order filled at the market price. Guess I'd better start paying more attention to the confirmation screen! My browser crashed just after placing the order when I tried to go back a few screens, so I thought maybe that might have been it, but Tim's explanation seems more plausible. Thanks, Tim for your clarification.

BTW Tim, I think you sent me a private message to avoid embarassing me publicly in the thread re my error? Rest assured, I would rather have DATEK respond to any specific post that calls into question performance or execution, if you have the resources to do so.
