I dont understand why there is such anticipation of another split when we just had one in March.
The up in anticipation of great earnings I understand.

Three:

<<<<< But, yes, the stock action also appears to me to be a combined function of good anticipated earnings and anticipated split announcement.>>>>
Combine those two items with the glowing future presented
by increased market share and factory constructions that can be discussed in the earnings report
The mere vote on increased shares is being taken as an assured
stock split in the (perhaps, even near)future. MM's paying much
closer attention to Dell, after giving up somewhat on CPQ immediate
future. And the MM's know as we do what happens when Dell splits,
it soon doubles.
If one were a tech portfolio manager would he chose between msft
faced with ongoing investigations and no way to double production
because of having 95% market share, or Cpq with many problems to solve, or with Dell who can grow 60% in a years time even without a
split???
It is very easy to see that Dell will not tank and will
continue on up but no way I see to tell when and how far.
