I think he at least "liked" it around 30, when he first published he was long.

Doug, I have enjoyed Kevin Petrie's writing in thestreet.com about the networkers. He usually takes a fairly critical, "prove it" position. As a good reporter, he was very negative on ASND on the ride down (i.e., 56K glitches) and has become much more positive as the story has gotten better.

As far as Cramer, I think he truly understands the data networking build-out need and has identified LU, CSCO and ASND as the main beneficiaries. He tends to play only major players, i.e., he may not play around with NN even though it would fit with his strategy. Call me naive, but I really don't believe Petrie is pumping stocks for Cramer's benefit. I think thestreet.com and Cramer both have higher aspirations than temporary, short-term manipulation. djane
