Microsoft "supports" the protocols but puts variations in them that are not compatible with other vendors products. This is an effort to subvert the protocols. Just as they have with Java they have with all the other protocols.

You haven't provided anything to question that assertion, so I think it stands. (IE: I think you were going in a different direction and I don't want to change the subject.)


I'm not trying to change the subject. Did you have an actual example of a protocol they changed in some way? Until I have an example, I have to call your assumption baseless.
