"Does Osicom's product meet all the requirements that were discussed? "

Considering that the co-developer of the GigaMux wrote the article, I would say it is a pretty safe bet that it meets all his requirements. The article is not an advertisement or endorsement for the GigaMux though, as it is not even mentioned by name. Rather it is an article about issues that should be considered when shopping for a GigaMux type product.

Telephony Mag probably wanted an essay from someone knowledgable in the field to write about the considerations in choosing a short haul system. Since Xin co-developed the GigaMux, is intimately involved with those who are shopping for that type of product, and knows what the needs are of potential users, he fits the bill for a qualified expert.
