Just got an expensive example of why you need a responsive trading site from your broker - I've been watching VNTV all day, and finally saw it move to 32x1/8 a few minutes ago. By the time I'd finished going thru Schwab's order entry screen the ask was 3/4, so I scrubbed the transaction. Tomorrow my account with MB trading goes live (I hope) and these nightmares will be a thing of the past. I've lost quarter points here and there because of Schwab's slow site, but this is the first time I've seen 5/8 blow out the window so fast.
