forward looking EPS estimates are based on the number of shares currently out there right now. UTI has used the money raised from that secondary offering to make aquisitions that will be very accretive to earnings in the future..and they continue to look for aquisitions. The forward estimated growth rate that companies like Solomon Brothers are using to make 12 month price targets of the likes of 28 are based on the current number of shares not the number of shares a year ago. If UTI could earn what it is earning now with the float of a year ago we would have a stock much much higher in price than today's. Instead, the earnings have increased, and are estimated to keep increasing, and the float has increased to allow for accretive aquisitions. It should be apparent during this latest pullback that UTI is a favorite among the street investors. When oil comes back into favor this baby will be 40+ again....mark my words.
