Actually, he's implying that go_lgnd on yahoo is tonyt@worldnet.No2847129712sPAM.att.net on usenet.

As a matter of fact, there are more tonyt's. Are they all the same?
(I would post all the tonys, but the list is too long).

Although there are many tonyt's out there, I suspect that the number that have a worldnet.att.net account and also post about LGND is very close to 1. The one that I linked is the only one that I know of (and I do follow LGND fairly closely).

I really don't know who go_lgnd is on Yahoo. All that I know is that he has an SI account, seems to know very little about Ligand, posts exclusively negative info, and seems to be a bit fixed on LGND's stock price of $14 (as does tonyt@worldnet.att.net).

We appear to be getting a bit OFF TOPIC dicussing tonyt's, however, what does tonyt on worldnet have to do with go_lgnd on yahoo? How does henry 'know' that go-lgnd has a SI account (Hey, go_lgnd, if you're reading this, speak up!). Also, go_lgnd is not the only one on yahoo with negative comments on LGND (are they really tonyt's also?)

Also, it appears that the tonyt from worldnet just commented (in April) that LGND appeared to be stuck at $14. Since three weeks later LGND is still stuck at $14, he appears to have a valid comment. x1.dejanews.com

I don't know why henry is fixated on tonyt's?

--Tony (...or is it?)

P.S. The only thing 'fixed' about LGND's price of $14 is LGND -- LOL!
P.P.S. I think you're right, henrys just mad that he didn't get to use the go_lgnd handle!

Mudcat, go_lgnd on Yahoo has indicated that he is not an SI member. However, his posts that include links to SI can only be viewed by SI members, so I assumed that he indeed was an SI member. I have asked for an explanation.

In any event, I did find it curious that someone with a go_lgnd handle would sound so much like some of the naysayers on this thread. The fixation on LGND's $14 price also caught my attention, which made me more suspicious.

I have gone through the LGND thread on Yahoo! and linked most if not all of the go_lgnd posts. Feel free to click through them and see if they sound like anyone that you know:

Mudcat, perhaps you can ask henry how any of this is 'on topic'?
If he has a problem with go_lgnd, then let him fight it out with him over on yahoo and leave me out of it as I'm getting a bit annoyed (henry's real objective?) of being accused of being the cause of every negative post about Ligand throughout the world.

Mudcat, I was referring to the similarities between go_lgnd on Yahoo! and tonyt on usenet.

go_lgnd on Yahoo! has indicated that he is not an SI member, so if he is to be believed (he has not yet responded to why he uses member specific URLs), then obviously I am not talking about anyone who posts here.

Mudcat, I consider any LGND post about LGND, or posters who post on LGND boards, to be ON TOPIC, especially when they are misleading (and I have raised this issue on the Yahoo! board also and have not yet received a response from go_lgnd).
