At least this bit of news is via Standard & Poor's (is this a higher profile news service than PR NewsWire?)
However, the quality of the communication is rather sparse. Doesn't say one word about "the merger is expected to be accretive to earnings".

Hey, we need another conference call!!!

Sandie, I wish I knew why. All I can figure is the old "buy on rumor, sell on news." I went back and looked at the press release on the Hublink merger and it just looked better and better. Perhaps not enough shareholders have heard about the forthcoming big news. The psychology of buying and selling is still a deep mystery to me. :-)

Ouch! Down 5/16???

I think that, for most people, the benefits of the merger have to be spelled out in plain English. I.e., just HOW MUCH will it be accretive to earnings, and HOW will this merger help attract new & larger customers? Either their press releases are only fully understood by the technically literate, or they simply left out too many business-related details.

Any comments? Is there a way for us to send email to their PR firm?

If this ship is hung up on seaweed, a reef, whatever....I wish it would shake loose and arrive at $10 by Friday....I have to leave Friday on a week-long visit to my mother and those twits at Gateway have not yet sent me my new laptop...If it doesn't arrive in good time to get it loaded up with my goodies, I shall be rather severed from the marketplace...

Maybe if I send all the MM's a personal letter stating the urgency of this matter? Gee....that oughta work, dontcha think...?.../cd
