JC,

Appreciate all your efforts especially lately. Unfortunately, weed control is a never-ending task. Just when you think you've cleared your plot, a new batch pop up. C'est la vie.

The temptation to take the weeds out one by one is tough to overcome and I today spent too much time with one particular strain which was lurking about. Nonetheless, a shift toward a more positive work ethic on the main plot will be rewarded. Once the momentum turns, the fertilizer we have been waiting on will demonstrate a magnified effect.

Good things take time.

Scott

Agree, these weeds are ugly, but I think we need to worry about Grub Worms this time of year. These white Grubs start out as nice June bugs and they're all over this time of the year looking for a home to lay their eggs. Unfortunately, the WF5L field lot is to their liking.
The time to treat these Grubs is early summer. Any application in the next two weeks should take care of the problem.
Will always have a " mosquito" problem though.
Good luck to all
Dan
