About the announcement of Ewald's resignation, perhaps the most interesting point is in the last sentence: "Following Ewald's departure, Belluzzo will assume direct management of the Computer Systems operations." Given Rocket Rick's operations background, this seems to indicate that SGI is getting serious about streamlining its operations, as all successful PC makers had. If that is the case, then it's good news.
