The Pentium is designed using a five-layer manufacturing process. Now take a look at the periodic table: you have everything from sodium to titanium to nobelium. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to see that Pentium has little to do with marketing genius and everything to do with picking a neat sounding name for a product that's going to take off whether is was called Pentium, Luxurium or Barney. Using the same company that named Pentium demonstrates a real lack of creativity and confidence.
