I hope so. CRAY was/is a company no one wants. It doesn't bring anything to SGI's business. Once this is done, SGI could be a candidate for purchase.

Cray was a company that SGI wanted! :-)
They bought it for it's technology (OS, compilers, memory
bandwidth, interprocessor comms, etc), name, and access to the high-end customers. I think it was a perfectly logical purchase
for SGI.

So, if SGI sells Cray, will they give up all the technology that they got from Cray? If they keep this tech, and still wish to compete in the supercomputer market, who will be willing to buy Cray (and be allowed to of course)?
