barring a buyout i expect cs not to break 20 this year. what is wrong
with a 20-30% more move this year without a buyout? so far the volume
on cs does not suggest cumulation is under way. so far since csco
reported cs is up 4% and bay 18%.

Newbridge Networks for sale, don't think so. However if it were the logical company to purchase it would be Siemens. They are jointly working on the 36190 switch and will lead the industry with it.

Regards to all
Glenn

How bout this...... Bay get's bought by whomever, Alcatel, Seimens, Ericsson or Nortel. Lucent buys Ascend to shore up their ISP business, then picks up CS later on to enter the low end LAN business. COMS? They get bought by whoever doesn't buy BAY (Alcatel, Seimens, Ericsson or Nortel)

Live long and prosper Captain.
