Excellent writing, Donald:o) I do believe there was a person named Jesus Christ. I also believe he was a charismatic, good human being. His death certainly inspired many people to strive to live as he did. This is all "good" stuff. Where we differ is your assumption that he was sent from god. I believe he was an historical figure. The other men in other cultures that were raised to the same status as a supreme religious leader must have been just as charismatic. I'm sure they were all good men to have made such an indelible(sp?) mark on history. Let me point out a curious fact about this though. Isn't it strange that they were all men??? Strange isn't it that through all the centuries, not one woman ascended to this level of religious adoration. Seeya
