robbie have made money just in all my previous shorts except amat. if you understand the semi market they generally trade in parity together. if you look at 1996 in november when amat in the semi's that day semi's went through the roof-nvls was up 9, other semi stocks were up big. my point is smart semi money are not buying it because you would have strenght across the board. because whats good for amat is good for the industry. so the buying was from unsophisticated buyers listening to their broker who said are guy still likes it but he slashed estimates dramatically. when its all done in said believe i know about the group as good as anybody on this board or imo the street. all i'm saying is the writing is on the wall the risks in historical times have been never been higher. in my opinion amat reminds of coms after numbers stock was up dollers at 39 even though numbers were not good but the street said inventory look good or some bullsh--. reality set and people get sick of promises and eventually the stock will get hit.
