It's very possible a lot of sells in several diamond stocks are coming from Altamira, Mersch used to bet heavy on oil, more recently betting on diamonds...fund holders don't know what they are getting into with Altamira but in any case this could explain some weakness, interesting theory.

Altamira sat down with PUG for the first time less than 6 months ago. I doubt very much that they purchased shares then, or that they're selling now.

Here's a theory. People who buy stock like this can't sit idle too long. They're selling out of boredom.

Here's one good thing, though. A lot of cash is tied up in South Voisey Bay, and that whole play looks like its rapidly becoming axiomatic. Maybe if and when that melt down happens, cash will start flowing into the BH. Just thinking out loud.
