Thanks for giving me the good news, John, Suresh, & Jim. Coupled with some common sense, FA rules again. I admit that shorting HP was an easy one.

I read an article a while back that talked about HP going aggressively after market share in the desktop & mobile PC market by introducing low-priced models at low prices, adding large resellers like VST & MICA, and doing some channel assembly on notebook models through resellers.

Gaining market share by sacrificing margins translates into earnings shortfall and in HP's case they are notorious for missing. That's why I said I probably won't cover before earnings because they usually miss.

HWP should be a bargain @ 10-15% off its 52-wk high....and the game continues.
