Nuc, if you're buying gold by South African, more bang for your buck, take a look at ASA. Stay away from semi's and everything else except cash ...IMO

RE: What's going up?!?
Well, Hoechst (HOE) has gone up a little more than 10% since i bought it less than a week ago:
Message 4374705

Ascend Communications (ASND) seems to be pinned to $45 for options Exp Friday. After that i think i can get another 3 or 4 points before the end of June.

Since HWP preannounced tonight, there might be a good buying opportunity in Dell (DELL) tomorrow. That stock has been unstoppable and as we all know: any stock that goes to 90 will go to 120. <G>

Another great stock that i have always wanted to own (and might buy soon) is Cordant Technologies Inc.(CDD) Untill the otherday, it was called Thiokol Corp. (TKC)
This pretty much explains what they are all about:
biz.yahoo.com

Anyway, there all always stocks that go up, sometimes you just have to look harder to find them.

As for your CPQ, i think everyone is a little unsure about their inventory problems and price cuts and the Digital buyout. Not sure what will happen with it this quarter (i don't think it has much down side risk), but it is a great company and should be much higher by the end of the year.

COMS is kinda the same story. I might buy that under $26 because even though it might take a quarter or two to play out, the upside is huge. I keep my eye on it, but no real rush to buy it.

BTW, i still own some NE.

See, this isn't a Bear Thread.<G>

and forget about gold and gold mining stocks. There is too much gold in the world.
