3, Dell bidding 98 1/4 :o), ask 95 :o(

I'll bring on the field goal kicker and say we will close between 95 and 98. Look for a kick high and to the right. (toward 98)

IBM will help make clear all computer companies are not the same.

:o)

JBN3, another opportunity to make a few $ today & early next week. I'm buying 20 CALL contracts of the May 90 or 95 depending on the price of DELL when the market opens and 20 CALL contracts of the June 95.

3, that was good advise and I understand. I actually had hoped that Dell would be $105 by Aug but not before it dropped. It seemed to me every run-up is followed by a retreat and that we had just experienced a run-up to $90. I was expecting LT's crash to put Dell in the mid $80's for a time so it could regroup, absorb the new P/E and go forward from there. I did not expect it to keep going to $100 right now. If the price had retreated, say to $85, I would have bought the options back to close the position and made a tidy amount for my effort. Oh, they were indeed out of the money when I purchased them. I would actually suspect that if earnings arent even better then we here hope, the market will penalize Dell, perhaps severely since I think this latest run-up is in anticipation of a really good earnings report. "market rises on rumor, falls on facts". If Dell stablized in low $90's and after earnings dropped to high $80's I'd be a very happy camper. I never expected it to run to the $100 mark now. It's been gaining $3 - $5 per day, that can't continue. So my issue is now, should I take the loss and buy to close now or am I safe for a time. I think the conscensous is I am safe for a time, maybe not until 4:00pm on the 3rd fri of Aug, but for a time.
