Dennis, does this mean you have rescinded your offer to this thread for a free dinner? Be honest, it was the wine list. You just couldn't afford to spring for the wine, right?

I, for one, am bummed. So, I've decided to buy a share of ALYD stock in your name and I'll be bringing it with me to the shareholders' meeting. So, Mr. ALYD shareholder to be, do you recommend the chicken or the fish at Cinos? (gg)

Dennis: OK, 'fess up.

It was the flip of the coin, wasn't it? Yeah, I thought so. The suspense finally got to you. Heads, tails ... on edge. Which would it be? Well, I can certainly understand your reluctance to continue holding when the fate of the company relies on the flip of a coin. I hope you got out with a profit. I didn't. But, I'm also looking for a re-entry point. I think there's money to be made here. Somewhere. Sometime. With or without the coin flip.

Best of luck,

TED

Greetings from Charlotte! I want everyone to know that Dennis actually showed up at the Cino Grill and bought lunch for everyone there who was an ALYD shareholder and SI member. Quite a classy move.

The only problem was I never followed through and attended. Since I really didn't have confirmation about things, I figured maybe I should ring Truth who was also staying at my hotel and see what he was doing. Meanwhile I had also gotten a private message on SI about going to lunch at a place with a "good buffet". Since Truth first had to meet with people before lunch, I opted for the buffet... at the Diamond Club.

It was only when I arrived at the Diamond Club that I realized it wasn't your average eatery. Well, I take that back. Based on the number of similar places in Charlotte, maybe it is your average eatery (gg). OK, so I admit it. It was my first time in such a place. I must say say, the food wasn't all that bad. The music was a bit loud and the entertainment was, well, personalized. Amazing what $5 will buy in Charlotte. (g)

So, suffice to say, the Cino Grill never even crossed my mind while I was eating lunch, errr... watching lunch, errr... whatever. I certainly do wish I could have met Dennis to thank him personally for being a standup guy for footing the bill for lunch. But this message will have to do for now.
