Actually ETrade will try to use its customer base to leverage itself into a presence as a portal site. Thus they would become a relative phenomenon an interneet stock that makes money and provides a real tangible service. This will help them in many ways if executed with quality content. I would expect them to make a number of strategic alliances in the coming months.
