Hey Vinman 17 analysts say buy IBM - does Farfel have 16 brothers ?

3 had already changed to "buy" this month before Lou G gave his bullish speech today . Think the remaining 6 analysts will now move to a "buy" ? :

Thought since January , when the bears predicted $85 , that IBM would hit $125 for its 4/28/98 AGM . So it took a little longer but Farfel's happy .

The timing of LG's POSITIVE speech , just before Friday's options expiration , may be a signal IBM is disconnecting from "pegging" lids on its options .

Might see IBM routinely publish GOOD NEWS during option's week .

Vinman, based on what I just read in the WSJ on HP, you should be a very happy man today. You should also be happy you are no longer short IBM. The WSJ story on Lou G and IBM was very positive. My May 125 covered calls could be in trouble.

Regards,

Don
