I agree that the stock market is just a perception game. If I may elaborate...given my perception...the ability to personally act on today's available news .... be it fact or subjective analysis...and the freedom of internet trading...gives me (and I suspect many) the false since of reduced risk simply by removing oneself from personal peril by pushing a button to place a bet.

Present company excluded of course....How many investors, traders, or speculators trade on analyst's recommendations, news, CNBC interviews and reports, etc? Isn't this like real life...where the majority will act on perceived good effects or trusted advise simply because one does not have the time or feels that time is too costly to find the answers themselves?

Which brings up the question: Exactly why does GTW have as high a PE as DEll?
