David, I don't think there is any miscommunication. You are simply not as bearish as I am. When I say MU is going to single digits, I really believe it, in which case paying less for more options is preferable to paying more for fewer options. Even if the fewer options are more likely to make money. Don't let the stop loss game fool you with short sales. It works fine until we get discontinuous pricing. In other words, gaps. When a stock opens 5 points above your stop, or, worse, doesn't open at all pending news, it can hurt more than you expect. If you want to play it that close to the vest, I recommend that you buy deep in the money puts that have virtually no pure premium in them, ala June 35s. However, as always, I only buy puts on up days, and this doesn't look like one of those. <G> MB
