I really believe Nike is feeling some ethical pressure from this Oakley move. Knight has stated how impossible it is to make shoes here in the US. After all the exploitation, he is now trying to help all of his third world slaves. This shoe will be politically biased for a while yet. Nike is trying to play catch up to the image problem.
