An open question to all:

Are there any restrictions on selling a stock for a loss and then
buying it back at a lower price? Some one mentioned to me that
you have to wait 30 days before doing that. I have not been able
find that in print anywhere. If it is true, what happens if you do buy it back before the 30 day period expires?

Thanks - JB

Irby, I read a lot about technical analysis, indicators and systems which is written in the context of futures trading. Do you have any insight into what may make a futures trading indicator or technique a good candidate for application to trading common stocks? Regards, Allen
