g'day all - Dear Z Analyzer, you sez "You all have a right to be furious with a management that clearly has forgotten who they work for..."

for the record, I ve not yet been furious with BAY mgt. On the contrary, while her recovery has hit a snag, Messr House & co have done a daunting task since they took over. And kudos to the BAY employees. As I ve said before, I ve not factored in any takeover for BAY investment, but if that ever happens, I will vote for my own shares. To have shareholders micromanage mgt [of any co for that matter] is what get people into such short term frenzy. Of course, I cannot speak for others, fo jmho

z analyzer: WHOA, I am not furious with management. In fact I rate current management integrity right up there with the best of them. From what I can see they have been as honest and open as they possibly can under the circumstances. David House I think tends to feel he would rather not sell but he will not stand in the way of shareholders having the chance to consider a REASONABLE not LOWBALL offer. jdn

You sound suspiciously like one of the those class action shareholder lawsuit lawyers who never succeed in doing anything but hobbling a good company for the sake of a few dollars. Say it ain't so!

I have no problems with management. You can't expect them to make every aspect of the company public. If House said that the company was on the block, the stock would immediately run up beyond the real value of the company and the final acquisition price could be lower than market value. It happens.

I happen to think that the Nortel rumor was leaked intentionally. This will run up the share price a little, but meanwhile you can bet that BAY is pulling out all the stops in sales this quarter to window dress the place up for an acquisition to come a little later. No it's not LU.

Cheers
