MISSISSAUGA, Ontario--(BUSINESS WIRE)--May 14, 1998-- Transformation Processing Inc. (TPI and OTCBB:TPII) announced today that the Company
joined forces with PROFAC Management Group Limited to provide Year 2000 Non-IT / Embedded Building Systems services to PROFAC Management
Group Limited.

An embedded system is the code that is built into special purpose microchips that inhabit just about every modern electronic device. They are found in
power plants, manufacturing facilities, water and sewage systems, medical devices and military equipment. The list also includes planes, trains, ships,
automobiles, elevators, telephones, alarm systems and a multitude of other equipment devices.

PROFAC Management Group Limited of Montreal is one of Canada's premier facilities management companies. PROFAC has selected TPI for its
Embedded Building Systems Year 2000 project on behalf of one of its largest clients, a Canadian federal crown corporation with over 600 facilities. In total,
PROFAC manages over 3,000 facilities on behalf of its clients.

Francois Depelteau, President of PROFAC, commented that, "For the past two months we have been working closely with TPI to perform an assessment
of our client's building systems for Year 2000 readiness. We look forward to progressing to the remediation phase and beginning the Year 2000 Embedded
systems projects with each of our clients."

"Using a Multiple Offset Priority Assessment System, TPI is providing its Non-IT Embedded service to clients, vendors and suppliers," stated Dr. Mark
Burfield, TPI's Vice President of Professional Services. "With our Embedded/2000 methodology, TPI is able to mitigate its clients' Non-IT year 2000 risk, a
risk that will far exceed the Year 2000 risk to information technology systems."

Sensing an acute market requirement for an answer for Non-IT Embedded systems, TPI has developed a complete solution to address embedded systems,
firmware and supply chain management.

Transformation Processing Inc. is an Information Technology company that develops and markets software and services that enable companies
worldwide to automatically migrate their application programs and data from legacy systems to open system and client/server environments. TPI has
evolved from providing AS/400 legacy code migration services to a company supporting four lines of business: Client Server Migration, Year 2000
Solutions, Groupware and Support Services.
