Very Impressive announcement for Mr. LSI: Message 4452993 Message 4453036 (20 bucks a chip - 200 million households now - can anyone say 7th monster high volume chip - DCAM, DVD, FC (several?), GSM, CDMA (later), DTT, ATM (cores?).) --- You know one thing you got to like about LSI - no 2nd and 3rd tier customers. Philosophy: In that recent best-seller "The Discipline of Market Leaders" they speak of 3 things: Choose Your Customers Narrow Your Focus Dominate Your Market --- LSI embarked on the first in 1993. LSI embarked on the 2nd in 1992. It is the third that I think remains to be shown. --- If all 3 turn out to be valid we are golden (again here dominate = 20%, very tough to go higher) --- Shane.
