I think the reaction should probably be roughly what it was.

If the opinions expressed by industry analysts or media personalities diverges significantly from the opinions of management, they have a responsibility to respond as quickly as is prudent.

This should be the case whether the news is bad (as in this case) or is good (as in the case of INTC vs. Tom Kurlak).
