Jim, you forget that what's bad for box makers (lower prices) is good for 'net stocks (more people buying cheaper PCs to get on the Web and buy books). I'm surprised that the 'net stocks aren't running today. Hmm. Could it be that silly excuses for a squeeze don't work too well once the mo mo guys have moved on? What we don't know, of course, is whether/when they will return. Come to think of it, YHOO's failure so far today to follow through on yesterday's run is kind of reassuring. OTOH, fool me twice (thrice? more?)...

When do you expect Amzn to tell us the same is happening with books??


AMZN does not seem to give out information with content. I doubt they will ever make that statement. However, the more PCs sold, the more people on the net. I doubt that will be a long term factor for AMZN.
