Two major companies that do testing, charging by lines of code, are MIFGY, in UK and California, and SEEC, in Israel and US. Must be very profitable---see MIFGY earnings report a few days ago.

And see SEEC earnings report of May 11! Although SEEC is not strong in Israel, if there at all. But with their partners, they do have over 50 y2k factories operating world-wide (5 with IBM) and they do charge by line of code.
