I don't know how many of you are in and how many are on the sidelines, but this company is to be listed on NASDAQ in the next 40 days or so. Mutual funds have expressed interest in this gem and another acquisition announcement is expected in the next week or so. Earnings projections are phenomenal, so we expect the price to move to the $10 area real shortly, probably by the time or shortly after its NASDAQ listing. At least one Wall Street Analyst will probably start following the stock. Look for upcoming mentions on CNBC. wallstreetwest.com Windows & Doors for the export market Leah Industries, Inc. is a manufacturer of windows and doors primarily for the export market. (OTC-BB-LEAH-$5.50) If you ever wanted to get into a company BEFORE it hits a major exchange you may want to check out LEAH. Fortunately for us, here is another company that has not been discovered by Wall Street yet. This week we received two phone calls from mutual fund companies about LEAH. The stock also moved up 1/4. LEAH is a fully integrated manufacturer of vinyl windows and doors. The company's primary market is in Russia, Azerbaijan and Kazakstan, former Soviet bloc areas. LEAH is currently undergoing two strategic acquisitions which will enhance its North American presence. (One of these acqusition targets was announced this week: a privately held Denver Company called Builders and Kitchen Centers, Inc. BKC had revenues of $10 million in 1997). Most of the principals are from Russia, but have relocated with their families to North America. 1998 expected earnings are .65, with projections of $1.09 in 1999, and $1.83 by 2000. The company is currently trading at 8 times expected earnings. Industry standards of 20 times earnings put the stock at $13. We expect that price range sometime between now and after its NASDAQ listing (to occur sometime shortly). The stock is closely held, with 11 million shares issued and outstanding. Keep an eye on this one and remember where you first heard it. For more information visit the listing at the Wall Street West website at wallstreetwest.com .
