Patrick,

The promptness of my response to your message reminds me of an old joke
about 3 monks living under a vow of silence in Tibet . . . but, more on
that later.

Thanks for the feedback. I have 1,000 shares at this point and yesterday
spent about 30-minutes at Redneck's headquarters office in Asheville, NC.
The gentleman I spoke with alluded to a couple of upcoming
announcements within the next 30-days, including the aquisition of a
couple of existing restaurant chains to be converted to Jeff Foxworthy
B-B-Q sites. He advised me to "hang in there" (of course)and said that
the stock has been depressed lately by profit taking by early investors.

Headquarters is a modest installation. No "wretched corporate excess"
here. They are a bare-bones operation, presently frustrated by the
delays introduced by legal work delaying the announcements.

Work has begun and is proceeding on the old Woody's site. It has been
gutted and is being redecorated inside and out. It will be an upscale
"Jeff Foxworthy's Smokehouse Grill" version of their series. The real
money will be made if their franchising plans materialize, and I feel
that the success of that effort will be dependent quite heavily on the
visibility of Jeff Foxworthy and his on-going popularity. Afterall,
look what happened to Roy Rogers Restaurants. People are fickle and
times change. The quality of the food may be the long-term salvation.

More, later. -- Thanks! -Peter H.
