I tried to short CFON today, but my broker (Discover) doesn't have any shares. A division of my company is a reseller for VTC equipment including CFON, PCTL, and others. Most of our business customers are moving to digital video products, but CFON has been offering analog solutions, so it has been very difficult to move their products. Their video resolution is just not good enough for business customers, so their market potential is in the consumer area which is very price sensitive and non-loyal to vendors.

Tidbit of info for the snake pit on CFON.

This stock is getting advertised by a radio tout here in
Washington D.C. area. First I heard him he was pushing ANDre
electronics.

How about that XYBR, eh? They're going to invent an amazing
machine, a portable PC for under $5,000!
Book value -10. Still heavy into research.
jumped $8 today because Sony agreed to manufacture some of
their machines
(they'll just sell some stock to get the money to pay Sony).
Where do they get those mushrooms these "investors" are eating?
