Yup. LSI got laced I think by a LU release that hinted LSI's SOC was vapor since for example RF was not included (this is about 8-10 months back). I tend to agree with you - put everything or don't call it a system! Nevertheless more integration is what makes LSI so appealing. The street is nit-picking. I'm hoping! Shane.

G. Poobah.. Great find... that post about Wilf's comments, and the initiation of the "Multiple SOC" or MSOC term. Months ago we had been wondering what the heck would be done with all the capability that was being prvided in the much more complex chips coming down the pike. As the industry drives from .35u and .25u to line widths of .18u.. and .13u not all that far behind. The number of transistors on a chip is becoming so large that the actual number escapes me. But MSOCs!! -- aha! NOW we can see some uses for these really complex chips. It just amazes me that there exists a capability to design the systems... some engineering! Meanwhile...perhaps we could see a little of that LSI future reflected in an LSI stock price?...Would that be asking too much?.. According to my reluctant, but occasionally accurate source TA-ANON...we should see a turn in LSI within two trading days... which would be around Monday, I would guess. TA-Anon had been suggesting a cyclical low near 23 ever since we hit 28 (and I told him if LSI ever went under 25 again, I would personally pay to take him off the wagon).. Anyway, for what it's worth, I think I'll pick up a few shares tomorrow or Monday.. 207.95.154.130 Thanks again for finding that great post on MSOCs! TSO
