Peter, I think this may be the right horse for several reasons. Both Intel and Cisco have invested in Broadcom. Broadcom's owners have started successful businesses before, such as PairGain. And bandwidth is the name of the game now. The only problem is that the stock price has moved way ahead of the fundamentals. So I'm concerned that there's too much downside risk at this point. That's why I am waiting until it drops below $40 at least. We may see this happen when the share lockup is released. Who knows, though?
