micny, It was not an ignorant response, if you understood what i implied. The last time I heard, the world wasn't getting rid of the N-bombs. It was limiting the acquisition to an elite club. In any case an A-bomb is not a tactical weapon, but a strategic one. Krishna

Re.: 5 bombs in 24 hours... As long as we are talking numbers, Rediff reports number of tests - US 1200, Russia 700, China 45, India 6, UK ?, France ?. All of them are supposed to have achieved the required knowledge in thermonuclear technology from testing. FWIW, Ram
