HI BM! I saw a press release from CGI yesterday. It stated that the stock was splitting on Tuesday May 19 and that shareholders of record on May 21 will receive extra their extra shares on May 27. Now my question is that if i purchase some more shares on May 19 will I still be able to get those extra shares and is that why the stock which ran up to $50.00 and then sank to $49.30 at the end of the day? Also when they say shareholder of record does that mean by the end of the day or the start of the day. I know it takes 3 days for a trade to settle. Tom...
