i was in hwp.. earning warning. no technical warning. analysts were even upgrading it days before it ..

hurt a little but i got my ibm to cover my losses.

Bob, I believe the Asian impact on HWP is thru slow down in test equipment orders. Hence the other box makers are not impacted by HWP prewarn. Ten point drop is not alot, after all HWP broke out from 68-69 two/three weeks ago in anticipation of changing fundamentals. Wait until it reports on Friday and examine the details. When the market digests the data and the market is less toppy, the blocks will return. They always do.

HWP ... good to buy on tanks for mid-term trades or for long-term investment ... three tanks come to my mind ... 39ish in '96, 50's in '97, and 60ish most recently. The ride for investors has not been smooth, but alot better than MOT. MOT's performance has sucked for 15 years ...
