I don't think that all the recent hoopla has changed the chances of a good deal with big pharma one bit. All the relevant science and exposure needed for that was available with the Nature paper. Possibly the company is more visible to venture capitalists, but in fact most of them with any interest in biotech are very well aware of the scientific literature relevant to the area.
