Every Coke needs a Pepsi?

Microsoft obviously has concluded that the DOJ is indeed a very
big potential problem for them. Given that, perhaps Microsoft's
best protection is a strong competitor in the internet/intranet
services department. Netscape is miniscule compared to them, but
has high visibility. This would make them attractive as a
competitor (assuming the Microsoft lawyers can calm down Bill
Gates and Steve Ballmer's paranoia).

What do people think? Will Microsoft promote Netscape in some
very public way as part of their DOJ deal?
