inching towards... Richard, Bit by bit government, FED etc are inching towards the position that Y2k will have a grave impact on stocks market and society. A boost will probably be the coming G8 conference. Tony Blair will put Y2k on top of the agenda; he is already very knowledgeable about Y2k..just read his recent speech (I have posted it on the y2k thread); he really knows what he is talking about; even to some extend about the technical details (like leap year problems etc.). Blair is very convincing....and still has the victory image of last year's election victory. Just my 2cents... John
