Bernard: I know Comsat Labs is heavily into ATM via satellite. I am trying to get to a meeting in Cleveland in June that is all about sat networking. I would definitely learn more there. I have a list of companies somewhere--I will try and find it. I remember looking at American Mobile Sat last fall and listening to a presentation. My conclusion was that G* and Iridium would kill them. The stock was 10 then--I thought what a great short! It went to 6 and change soon afterwards, and now I see it is back at 12. I haven't followed it at all, so I couldn't give you a learned opinion. I did see they sold off a satellite to Africa(?) Obviously I know very little.
