I heard it was nothing special. And I am not a big microsoft fan, to say the very least. BUT.....windows 98 has a dual screen feature which would be really nice for day trading. Instead of two seperate computers you can just use one with two screens. I don't think that will appeal to the masses but I will probably buy it just due to that feature.

Talking to beta testers I get a different viewpoint. Even though it is not as major as Win95 when it first came out, it still has cleaned up allot of bugs and added some nice features like natively supporting multiple monitors which is nice for users like stock traders. For the more demanding user, I think Windows 98 will be a worthwhile upgrade. For the user like myself still on release 1 of Win95 and not the OEM release 2 version, it will be a necissary upgrade. No question in my mind about this.
