Dear Ann; I live on a farm in northern Georgia and raise horses, donkeys, and chickens. Observing these animals and others it is clear to me that nature treats females very wrong. The common method of intercourse is frankly rape. It is hard for me to watch as the males beat on each other, and then with violence breed. I wonder how humankind is different from the animals. Without their being created in the image of God, none of us would know any different. The very reason you are appalled by the behavior of some men is because you listen to a higher morality than that of animals. Where do you suppose this higher morality comes from? Again I must ask you to prove with logic and not emotion why mistreatment of women is wrong? Apart from God it seems to follow the rule of Survival of the fittest, which many preach today even in school. How can this be any more wrong that the behavior of animals if you assume we are nothing more than they. Yesterday you wrote: <<Besides, the animal kingdom is more to be admired than woman/mankind. Animals act on god-given instincts alone. Humans, because of their free will, can choose to do good or evil deeds. Some humans choose the latter>> Where do you suppose this free will came from if not God? Following your logic, could it not be argued that a man is also following his "God given instincts" when he mistreats a women. I do not ask this to inflame, as I agree it is wrong. I know so because Yeshua has told me to love women, and to be willing to die for my wife if necessary. This is the ultimate respect I can give. On what authority would you teach your son to act differently? In Yeshua's love for you - DLL
